This Knowledge Base article describes an identified defect in MicroStrategy Web 9.x where an Attribute with an HTML tag form specifying the text color does not work in Flash Mode for a Report Services Document

SYMPTOM:
Attribute forms containing HTML tags that specify the color formatting do not apply in Flash Mode for Report Services Documents in Strategy Web 9.x. When viewed in Editable or Interactive Mode an attribute element using the HTML tags will retain the color and size referenced.
 
As seen in the screenshot below, Test is a noticeably bold and blue in Editable and Interactive Modes.

In Flash Mode however, the name TEST is no longer bold and blue.

CAUSE:
This is an identified defect with Strategy Web 9.x.
 
ACTION:
This issue was reviewed by our Technology team for feasibility and will not be scoped for a code fix in any upcoming Strategy release.
