Error "Object with ID 'XX' and type XX (XX) is not found in metadata" is returned when trying to upgrade or create the Enterprise Manager project in MicroStrategy 10.0

SUMMARY
This technical document covers a known issue with the out-of-the-box Enterprise Manager project in Strategy 10 Secure Enterprise Platform and how to fix it.

SYMPTOM
When trying to upgrade a 9.x Enterprise Manager project to version 10 using Strategy Configuration Wizard 10, the upgrade fails with the following error message:

Object with ID '2C05D4BF4FCDE07833FC42AE1E4CAB31' and type 61 (GraphStyle) is not found in metadata. It may have been deleted.Object with ID '98D36BA4428E19F27C0116A9FE26AF98' and type 10 (Prompt) is not found in metadata. It may have been deleted.

Object with ID 'BFB1C73E4C464B59001ED4B2E977159B' and type 61 (GraphStyle) is not found in metadata. It may have been deleted.The source manipulator found a missing dependency. 

Object: <Attribute Form id=119662F040CBEFC0A0E4D9BAFFFAC635> is not found. A total of 16 object(s) need it, one of which is 51.1 For EA Team (Report Processing Analysis - Job Based) <Report Definition id=2E2D60EF457E7B42FFCD57A3AC510A77>. 

Please turn on the log for more information.

Similar errors are returned when trying to import the out-of-the-box Enterprise Manager project to a new project by copying the "OOTB-EM.mmp" package using Object Manager.

If the above error message is not returned, inconsistent objects that cannot be edited can be observed in the out-of-the-box Enterprise Manager Project. The inconsistent objects match the GUIDs in the error message above.

CAUSE
This is a known issue with the out-of-the-box Enterprise Manager project. The package "OOTB-EM.mmp" distributed with Strategy 10.0 requires additional objects to be complete.

ACTION
An updated "OOTB-EM.mmp" package has been created to address this issue. The issue does not occur in Strategy 10.1 and later versions.

WORKAROUND
1) The updated "OOTB-EM.mmp" package is attached to the end of this document.
2) Overwrite the old "OOTB-EM.mmp" package with the new one at: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Strategy"
3) Proceed to upgrade the Enterprise Manager project upgrade or creation in Strategy Configuration Wizard..

The Strategy Internal Reference number for this issue is 1016800.
