KB440838: The error"Your request could not be processed due to a server error" happens when running most of the documents in editable mode in Microstrategy Web 10.4

This Knowledge base article describes how some users may get an error message when opening a document in editable mode and the code fix introduced to advert the issue.

SYMPTOM
After applying HF4, when some users try to open their documents in 'editable' mode in Strategy Web 10.4.HF4/ HF 5 they may get a 'Javascript errors were encountered due to a server error' error message. After the error, they're unable to use the document until they completely exit/shut-down the document. 
Note: The document runs fine in all other modes except in editable mode. In addition, the issue does not reproduce in Strategy Web 10.4 GA (Strategy Web 10.4 GA, document works fine in all modes).
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
Open certain documents in editable on web and the error will be encountered.
ACTION
This issue has been addressed in 10.5 HF6. Upgrade to this version to take advantage of this fix. KB440838
