Starting with the release of Strategy ONE (March 2024), dossiers are also known as dashboards.
SYMPTOM:
When users connect to SAP BW Query and try to create derived metrics in Dossiers from Strategy Web 11.0, they’ll notice the filter function doesn’t work.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1. Create a new Dossier from Strategy Web 11.0
2. Add new data from Sap BW Query with Attribute A and Metric B
3. Create a new Metric C based on Metric B with sum function and Add filter based on Attribute A in metric editor. Choose only some elements of Attribute A.
4. Add Attribute A, Metric B and Metric C into a grid visualization, notice the value of Metric B and C are the same, which means the filter in Metric C is not working.
CAUSE:
This is a known limitation of Strategy Web 11.0
ACTION:
