SYMPTOM:
Users get the Runtime Error when accessing the MSTRWS.asmx page in Strategy Office 9.4.1.
 

 
CAUSE:
The error message might be caused by many factors.
 
ACTION:
Since it's a very general error message, users are suggested to set the <customErrors> mode to "Off" to get more detailed error message by following steps below:

• Insert the <customErrors> tag to the web.config file and set the attribute mode to "Off". The web.config file can be found in the root directly of the current web application.
   
  

• Restart the web server.
• Open the MSTRWS.asmx page again and a much more detailed error message should be returned.
