Benchmarking: HyperIntelligence Chrome Extension MicroStrategy Update 1

Nida Imtiaz

Product Manager, Senior • Strategy

This article outlines the benchmarking of HyperIntelligence for Web.

This document provides insights on the benchmarking performed with the HyperIntelligence Chrome Extension. The attached PDF helps answer core business questions and provides recommendations on how to structure a cube for optimized performance. If you compare this document with the first version of benchmarking, you will notice significant improvements in the results.
Some of the key findings in the HyperIntelligence Chrome Extension Strategy 2019 Update 1 benchmarking were:

  • HyperIntelligence Chrome Extension has the ability to support a maximum of 12,056 users with an average response time of 0.56s while hovering over underlined keywords when sourced by a cube of 75K keyword elements with an average keyword element size of 11 characters.
  • Non-partitioned cubes perform better in high concurrency to display a card over a highlighted keyword.
  • Time to load card data on the extension is linearly proportional to the size of the underlying dataset.
  • Time to match and highlight keywords on the web page is linearly proportional to the number of keywords in the underlying dataset.

For a list of all key findings, see the Key Findings section in the Benchmarking PDF
We continue to receive feedback on the current scenarios of benchmarking and we will address them in the next version of benchmarking.
