KB483407: Can You Check a Project’s Access Control List via Enterprise Manager?

Can You Check a Project’s Access Control List via Enterprise Manager?
No. While Enterprise Manager stores information from the metadata, it does not store Access Control List (ACL) information for a project. You also cannot add custom attributes and forms to addresses because of the way the Intelligence Server loads data into the Enterprise Manager warehouse. While it is not possible to view this information in Enterprise Manager, there are two ways to check a project's ACL.
View the Project ACL in Developer:

  1. In Developer, right-click on the project for which you wish to view the ACL and click Project Configuration.
  2. Click Security in the left pane.
  3. Click Modify next to Set project definition security.

The window displays the users/groups and their access level to the project.

View the Project ACL in Command Manager:

  1. Open Command Manager and log into the project source that contains the project.
  2. Open the Command Manager Outline window.
  3. Expand Project_Configuration_Outlines.
  4. Choose List_Project_Config_Properties_Outline and enter the project name.

The results appear on the Results tab under Security > Project Definition Security.
