KB483660: Cards do not appear when an attribute element description contains two or more consecutive spaces

Vincent Auyeung

Principal Support Engineer • MicroStrategy

This article details an identified defect in HyperIntelligence.

Starting with the release of Strategy ONE (March 2024), dossiers are also known as dashboards.

Description

When an attribute element description contains two or more consecutive spaces, HyperIntelligence does not display a card for that attribute element description.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Import an Excel file that contains an attribute called Name and add an element description like, "Cuso Home Lending -  AKA Cuso Mortgage Corporation."
  2. Create a dossier with all the attributes from the cube.
  3. Save the dossier.
  4. Create a card with the attribute Name as the keyword attribute.
  5. Save and certify the card.
  6. Connect to your environment in the HyperIntelligence for Web Chrome extension.
  7. Enable the card.
  8. Execute the dossier. Notice that the attribute element description containing two spaces, "Cuso Home Lending -  AKA Cuso Mortgage Corporation," does not appear underlined.

Why is this happening?

This is an identified defect in HyperIntelligence currently under investigation by Strategy's Technology Team. Stay tuned for a solution!
