SYMPTOM
When attempting to install the Strategy 10 Health Center on AIX, the installation does not complete correctly.
CAUSE
AIX installations using tar (v 1.2) utility to unzip and then run install, fail to install Health Center correctly. The utility has a drawback when unzipping files with long path names. The information for the path/file name is corrupted. Health Center inherently has a long/deep path name and therefore this problem becomes apparent on first installation itself.
ACTION
Contact Strategy Technical Support for an update on this issue.
WORKAROUND
The alternative solution is to use GNU tar for unzipping the files on the AIX platform.
