KB484685: Community Connectors Whitelabel Error (400 Bad Request)

Description 

When using the Strategy connector or Community Connectors, you may encounter a Whitelabel Error Page with a 400 error.

Why is this happening? 

Strategy Community Connectors upgraded the Spring Boot to 2.3. By default, the detailed error messages are no longer exposed. For more information, click here. 
However, the most possible cause of the 400 error is incorrect configuration. Please refer to KB483549 and check the whitelist configuration.

Solution

• To enable the error message, go to the Community Connectors Server and find the file at

  CommunityConnectors\WEB-INF\classes\application.properties.

• Add the following two lines into the file. Save and restart the Community Connectors Server.
  

  
  server.error.include-message=always
  server.error.include-binding-errors=always
  

  
  
• Open the connector again and check the error message. If you see one of the following 2 screenshots, refer to KB483549.
  

• If the error message shows otherwise, please contact your administrators or Strategy Support for help.
