Creating an Usher security network and badge

Nahiyan Khan

Technical Support Intern • Strategy

To provide access through MicroStrategy Usher, you first create a security network and badge.Your Usher security network is the group of users in your organization who can use the Usher Security app on their smartphones to validate their identity to log in to web applications, access secure physical locations, and so on. Members of your network download their badges to their smartphones, then use the badge to authenticate to systems that are integrated with Usher. You can create a network and associated badge for each group of users in your organization. For example, you can create an Employee network and distribute a badge to the employees in your company, to provide access to company offices and corporate web applications. You can create a separate Visitor network and distribute a badge to visitors, to restrict visitor access to public areas only.
