KB441905: CurrentDate() function cannot work in the view filter of cube based reports

SYMPTOM:
When users use CurrentDate() function in the view filter of cube based reports, no data returns.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

1. Make the ID form of Year attribute text type.
2. Create a cube and a cube based report with Year attribute in step 1.
3. Add view filter in cube based report-> Qualify on 'Year' where prompt for expression->add default qulifications->attribute qualification->qualify on Year ID->operator exaclty->Custom->ToString(YEAR(CurrentDate())).
4. Run report. No data returns.

CAUSE:
This is a known issue in Strategy 10.x.
ACTION:
Currently this issue is still being reviewed for feasibility by Strategy Technology Team.
