KB485983: Default language for user objects is set to English (USA) if the user is created by "SSO User import", ignoring other locale settings

Steps to reproduce

Environment with metadata default language set to German or any other non-English US.

1. New user imported via Web SSO, having following options checked under the Intelligence Server configuration:

1. Once imported, check the default language for the user object, which is set to Englisch (USA):

1. When creating a user manually, the user object will be set to the expected metadata default language instead (in this example > German).

Cause

Locale resolution is done when user runtime has been created, at that time, the metadata locale defaults to interface locale (in this example > German) not being directly specified.
However, when importing users via Web SSO the call LoginSimpleSecurityPlugIn happens before the user runtime is created and hence metadata locale will default to the Intelligence Server's in-line user  runtime, which is English US.
 

Action

It has been confirmed that this issue is addressed with 2021 U10. Please upgrade to 2021 U10 or higher to take advantage of the fix.
