Due to limited adoption of Strategy Workstation for macOS among our Enterprise customer base, Strategy has chosen to discontinue this product starting in 2024. This decision will enable Strategy to concentrate our resources, focusing on enhancements for the Strategy Workstation for Windows, which sees higher usage.
The Strategy ONE June 2024 release Intelligence Server will display the message "Workstation for Mac is no longer supported. You can continue to use Workstation on Windows." when a Mac Workstation client tries to establish a connection as depicted in the below image:
Strategy 2021 Update 12 was the last release of Strategy which included a Mac Workstation client with support continuing until July 2024. Starting in 2021 Update 12, users of the Strategy Workstation for macOS received a notification inside the application indicating this change in strategy as well as support terms for the version.
