Starting with the release of Strategy ONE (March 2024), dossiers are also known as dashboards.
SYMPTOM:
Deploy Strategy Web & Library 2021 Update 5 to JBoss 7.3.x. Users may get the “Internal Server Error” when opening Strategy Library from Strategy Web.
"java.lang.NullPointerException" can be found in the JBoss Server log:
ERROR [io.undertow.request] (default task-1) UT005023: Exception handling request to /StrategyLibraryDEV/app: java.lang.NullPointerException
at io.undertow.servlet@2.0.30.SP4-redhat-00001//io.undertow.servlet.spec.HttpServletRequestImpl.getHttpServletMapping(HttpServletRequestImpl.java:250)
CAUSE:
In Strategy 2021 Update 4 and Update 5, Strategy Library Spring Framework has been updated to version 5.3.12. However, JBoss 7.3.x doesn’t work well with this new version of Spring Framework. Refer to this article shared by RedHat for details:

The issue would be triggered when cross-domain happens when opening Strategy Library from Strategy Web.
WORKAROUND:
Modify web.xml under "<Strategy Library>/WEB-INF" and add the url-pattern "/app" to the app servlet as below:
