KB483653: Guest users do not have the option to share dossier in MicroStrategy 2019 Update 2

Starting with the release of Strategy ONE (March 2024), dossiers are also known as dashboards.

Description

In Strategy 2019 Update 2, the Share function is missing for Guest Users in Strategy Web.

Steps to Reproduce

1. In Strategy 2019 Update 2, open the Web Admin page.
2. Enable Guest Users.
3. Run a dossier as a guest user. Notice that the privileges to share the dossier are missing.

Why is this happening?

This issue is currently being reviewed by Strategy's Technology Team. Stay tuned for potential solutions to this issue.
Note: This behavior does not affect any of the core Strategy Web functionality. 

Solution

The issue has been fixed in versions 2019 U4 and 2021.
