High CPU utilization observed when using Mobile Subscriptions and Android devices to access MicroStrategy Mobile 10 - 10.5

This knowledge base article describes a known defect with MicroStrategy Mobile server that can cause high CPU utilization of the MicroStrategy Mobile server java process when users access Mobile subscriptions from Android devices using MicroStrategy Mobile 10. This issue has been addressed with MicroStrategy Mobile 10.6 and 10.4 Hotfix 3.

SYMPTOM
After a short amount of time, the CPU utilization of the java process running Strategy Mobile 10.x increases to 100%. This issue is observed when users make use of Mobile Subscriptions and use Android devices to access Strategy Mobile.
CAUSE
This is a known issue with Strategy Mobile 10.x - 10.5.
ACTION
This issue has been addressed with Strategy Mobile Server 10.4 Hotfix 3 and Strategy Mobile Server 10.6. Upgrade in order to take advantage of the fix.
Note: Strategy Intelligence Server must be upgraded to the same or a higher version than Strategy Mobile server in order to run a supported configuration.
