How to Deliver Advanced Analytics for Data Mining With the R Integration Pack

With MicroStrategy, you can combine sophisticated data mining capabilities with easy-to-use data discovery for predictive and prescriptive analytics. While it's possible to do this with the native library of algorithms, MicroStrategy can also be paired with R to expand the depth and scope of your analysis.

SYMPTOM:
In Strategy Web 9.3.1 and up, it is not possible to configure a slicing selector in a Visual Insight Dashboard in order to export only the data being visualized.

CAUSE:
Currently, only in Report Services Document is possible to configure a Slicing Selector. There is an enhancement requested to implement this feature.

ACTION:
Please contact the Strategy Technical Support for an update on this enhancement request.
