How to Deploy Enterprise Analytics Applications with Native Connectors to Facebook and Twitter Data

MicroStrategy delivers native connectors to both Facebook and Twitter, making it easy to get access to the most current and relevant social media data for your business.

SYMPTOM:
In the Web User Preferences of Strategy Web, when users change the 'Use Dynamic HTML?' setting to 'Determine automatically' and click on 'Apply', the following message appears:


Update Confirmation. Your personal preferences have been saved

However, the Dynamic Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML) setting still states 'No', like shown below:

CAUSE:
"Enable screen reader compatibility" is also checked. Screen reader compatibility mode will force Strategy Web to display without Dynamic HTML.

Note: The screen reader compatibility option should only be checked when using Strategy Web with a third-party screen reading software.

ACTION:
Disable screen reader compatibility.
