Starting with the release of Strategy ONE (March 2024), dossiers are also known as dashboards.
There may be a time when sharing a Dossier that instead of linking to the first Chapter in the Dossier, you would like to direct your users to a specific Chapter using a URL.
Below is the syntax required to achieve this behavior:
https://SERVERNAME/MicroStrategy/servlet/mstrWeb?evt=2048001&documentID=DOCUMENTID&layoutIndex=LAYOUTNUMBER
WHERE:
SERVERNAME is the name of your server
DOCUMENTID is the GUID of the Dossier
This GUID can be found by right clicking the object in its folder and choosing Properties:
LAYOUTNUMBER is the Chapter you would like to show.
The Layout begins at 0, so to show the second Chapter in your Dossier, you will need to put 1 in this field.
