This knowledge base article will outline steps to help you prepare your AWS account for Strategy.
Before creating a new Strategy on AWS, you must first create the architecture into which all your environments will be deployed. The following sections will help you to create the architecture you need to get started.
Strategy on AWS uses several AWS resources and we suggest increasing the limits of several AWS resources before provisioning new environments into your AWS account. Although increasing resource limits is not required, doing so reduces provisioning errors because of insufficient resources. To increase the AWS resource limits, you will need create a new Support Center Case for each resource on the Support Center dashboard.
Strategy on AWS is deployed into a set of AWS infrastructure resources which are defined by the “Infrastructure Stack." The Infrastructure Stack is an AWS CloudFormation template and must be deployed into your account before you can create a new Strategy environment.
