DISCUSSION
In certain situations users may want to configure success and failure notifications for the scheduled refreshes of Intelligent Cubes that are created through Data Import in Strategy Web. However, users may notice that there is nowhere to specify notifications through the scheduled refresh interface in Strategy Web.
HOW TO CONFIGURE NOTIFICATIONS
When a user sets a refresh policy for a Data Import Cube there is a History List subscription created in the background that runs based on the schedule that was chosen when the refresh policy was configured. The screenshot below shows an example of such a subscription as seen from the Subscription Monitor in Strategy Developer.
Therefore, notifications can be configured with the following steps:
1. Open Strategy Developer and browse to Administration->Configuration Managers->Subscriptions and configure delivery notifications within the subscription by checking the box to send notifications, and specifying a recipient as seen in the example below.
2. Browse to Project Configuration->Deliveries->History List->Email notification and set the delivery notification policies for History List subscriptions as desired.
