KB483929: How to create a dossier that contains an existing cube object as a dataset using URL API

Starting with the release of Strategy ONE (March 2024), dossiers are also known as dashboards.
For Intelligent Cubes that are frequently used, it may be easier to send a URL to users to develop the report object that already contains a cube. This would reduce the amount of clicks and streamline the process for users that are unfamiliar with the Strategy Web Interface. To do so, you can take advantage of URL API.
The following URL is a sample of what the final URL will look like using a JSP application server:
http://[WebServer]:[Port]/[ApplicationName]/servlet/mstrWeb?evt=3185&src=mstrWeb.3185&executionMode=1&rwDesignMode=0&objectType=3&objectID=[CubeID]&rwCreateFlags=32
For an ASP application server, the first part of the URL will be replaced with the web server information:
http://[WebServer]/[ApplicationName]/asp/Main.aspx?evt=3185&src=mstrWeb.3185&executionMode=1&rwDesignMode=0&objectType=3&objectID=[CubeID]&rwCreateFlags=32
 
You should replace any parameter with brackets for your environment. 
The following parameters are the key parameters:

• evt=3185 Event to handle creating New Analysis Document in HTML VI page. For details, see the Web API Reference .
• executionMode=1 Data view execution mode used when the user intends to bring back data for the document.
• objectID Object ID of the Intelligent Cube object.
