KB483647: HyperIntelligence for Web does not identify each attribute element name by the entire description if a shorter version of the attribute element name is available

Vincent Auyeung

Principal Support Engineer • MicroStrategy

This article outlines an identified defect in HyperIntelligence for Web and a solution to the defect.

Starting with the release of Strategy ONE (March 2024), dossiers are also known as dashboards.

Description

When an attribute contains descriptions with the same words, such as David for description 1 and David Johnson for description 2, HyperIntelligence for Web only recognizes the shorter attribute description.

Steps to Reproduce

  • In Workstation, import an Excel file containing two rows of attribute descriptions. For example, an attribute called Name with two descriptions, First Bank and First Bank of Berne.
  • Create a dossier with the attributes from the imported Excel file.
  • Save the dossier.
  • Create a card and place Name as the keyword attribute.
  • Save the card.
  • In the HyperIntelligence for Web Chrome extension, log into the environment containing your newly created dossier and card.
  • Execute the dossier.
  • Enable the card. Notice that only First Bank is underlined, while First Bank of Berne is not.
