Upon the release of Chrome Web Browser version 80 (Chrome v80) in February, Google will be more aggressively enforcing cross-site security.
The new security enforcement will alter the logic for browser-to-server cookie transmission, which will affect any enterprise software product that supports HTTP. This includes not only enterprise software, but major infrastructure software components such as proxies, web application servers, load balancers, application firewalls, and other network and application components.
HyperIntelligence for Web is among the products affected by the new Chrome version. Due to the new security restriction, the previous SAML and Trusted authentication log in workflow will change.
With Chrome v80, if you log in to HyperIntelligence for Web using either SAML or Trusted authentication, a new tab will appear in your browser. Select the tab and enter your credentials there. Once you click OK, the tab will close and you are logged into HyperIntelligence for Web.
The workflow differs slightly if you are recovering a session. When you log in to HyperIntelligence for Web using SAML or Trusted authentication, a new tab will still appear in your browser. However, once you reconnect the tab will close.

If you are prompted to recover your session from a card, a new tab will open where you can enter your credentials. Once you click OK, the tab will close and you can view the card. If your card is cached, you will not be prompted to log in again.
