KB485948: In Library, when using German language, the time-series visualization shows incorrect data.

The user creates a dossier that implements the time-series visualization which when opened in MicroStrategy Web it displays correctly but after trying to display its information via library the values displayed are incorrect.

Starting with the release of Strategy ONE (March 2024), dossiers are also known as dashboards.

Prerequisities


The browser is set with the German Locale 
 

Symptom

  1. The Dossiers in Strategy Web display all the data of the time-series visualization correctly.

  1. The Dossiers in Strategy Library display the data of the time-series visualization incorrectly.

  1. When changing the locale to UK-English the data its displayed correctly in both deployment (Library and Web).

Cause


This was a defect in Strategy 2021 Update 8 (also found in update 7) which seems to affect the months of January and December exclusively and additionally this only affects the German language when set at browser level. This was addressed and worked on for Strategy 2021 Update 9.
 

Action


To take advantage of this fix, please update to Strategy 2021 Update 9 or later.
