Stefan Zepeda

This article describes a known issue where altering the screen resolution changes the number of editors that can be opened simultaneously. Generally, the higher the resolution, the fewer editors that can be opened simultaneously.

SYMPTOM:
When users attempt to open multiple editor windows (report editor, attribute editor, etc.), they receive the following error message:

ka02R000000kcSGQAY_0EM440000002FuH.jpeg

Can`t create autoredraw image

CAUSE:
This is a known issue where altering the screen resolution changes the number of editors that can be opened simultaneously. Generally, the higher the resolution, the fewer editors that can be opened simultaneously.

ACTION:
Strategy will continue to investigate and post updates as soon as they are available.

WORKAROUND:
Lowering the screen resolution to 800 x 600 with 16 bit color may allow more editors to be opened simultaneously but there may still be a limit in the range of 7-8 editors.
For some users, this error might occur sporadically and can then often be resolved by rebooting their client machine.
