KB10469: What are the data types and formats of subscription information for dynamic subscription sets?

Strategy Narrowcast Server can use dynamic subscription sets to retrieve subscription information from an external source such as a report in the Strategy Intelligence Server. All subscription information requires a specific data type and format. These data types and formats are described below:
 
Segmentation attribute

• Data type: 4 bytes Integer
  

Address ID

• Data type: Text
• Restrictions: 32 characters
• How to obtain it: Subscription Book Repository table <prefix>MSTRADDRESSES, column MR_ADDRESS_ID
  

Address Display

• Data type: Text
• Restrictions: 250 characters
  

Physical Address

• Data type: Text
• Restrictions: 250 characters
  

Device

• Data type: Text
• Restrictions: 32 characters
• Hot to obtain it: In the Narrowcast Administrator console, right-click on the desired devices and go to Properties > ID.

 
Transmission Properties

• Data type: Text
• Accepted values: blank (for non-E-mail devices); TransmitType='To', TrasnmitType='CC', TransmitType='BCC' (for E-mail devices).

 
Pin

• Data type: Text
• Restrictions: 250 characters

 
Time Zone

• Data type: Integer
• How to obtain it: Narrowcast Server Application Designer > Appendixes > Synchronization Data Types > Time zone constants

 
Delivery Window

• Data type: Binary
• How to obtain it: Subscription Book Repository table MSTRADDRESSES, column MR_DELIVERY_WIN

 
Locale

• Data type: Text
• Restrictions: 32 characters
• Hot to obtain it: In Narrowcast Administrator console, right-click on the desired locale and go to Properties > ID

 
User ID
