SYMPTOM:
Users are not prompted when executing a report which has been overwritten adding a prompt filter in Strategy Web.
The prompt does not require an answer. In addition, no answers were selected by default.
CAUSE:
When re-saving the report, the option "Save modifications to report filter" was checked.
By design, keeping this option checked will cause unanswered filter prompts to be lost.
ACTION:
Save the report and select only the option "Save report with all the embedded prompts" and un check "Save modifications to report filter."
The prompt filter will now be saved in the report and users will be prompted each time that a report is executed.
