SYMPTOM:
By default, report Totals appear with the descriptor "Total," as illustrated in the following screen shot. However, users may wish to change this descriptor, for example, in order to translate the word "Total" into a language appropriate for the report.
CAUSE:
Users are unable to modify this descriptor because the "Total" object has a description of "Total."
ACTION:
Users who wish to be able to rename/edit the Total header should post to the Ideas Exchange for future evaluation.
WORKAROUND:
Users can create a custom subtotal with the desired descriptor. The following Strategy Knowledge Base document provides more detail on creating custom subtotals to implement this workaround:
