KB12071: How to control attribute form display in MicroStrategy Web

To display attribute forms on a report in Strategy Web, complete the following steps:
 

• From the "Data" menu, select "Attribute Form," and the "Attribute Forms" dialog box will appear.
   
  
• Move attribute forms from the "Available Forms" window ,and select the "Show on Grid" check boxes as shown in the image below:

  Note: If these boxes are not selected, the attribute forms are only available on Report Object window but not on the template as shown in the image below:
   
  

• Control the order using the arrow buttons in the Attribute Forms dialog box as shown in the image below:
  

• Use the Tool bar icon shown in the image below to turn the attribute form name display in the header on or off when there are multiple attribute forms selected to display on the template:
  

• To have the attribute form dialog box available in Strategy Web, users must have the Strategy Web Analyst privilege "Web choose attribute form display" as shown in the image below:
