This technical note describes a possible of the error "Bad File Name or Number." that is generated in the project documentation
SYMPTOM: When attempting to generate the project documentation, the following error message is received:
Bad File Name or Number.
CAUSE: This problem is related to where the document is saved. The path is not valid, or the folder is protected, and users will see that mapping appears with a red X as shown in the image below:
ACTION: Change the path where this document is saved, or unprotect the folder to correct this issue.
