KB13205: Is it possible to track which user last edited or is currently editing a MicroStrategy object in MicroStrategy Enterprise Manager 9.x?

SYMPTOM:
A user cannot find functionality to track which user last edited or is currently editing a Strategy object in Strategy Enterprise Manager 9.x.

CAUSE:
It is not currently possible to monitor the user who is currently editing or last edited the attributes or any other Strategy object in Strategy Enterprise Manager 9.x or any other Strategy 9.x products.

ACTION:
A case has been logged with the Technology team to evaluate whether this functionality to monitor users who modify objects can be included in future versions of Strategy. Contact Strategy Technical Support for an update on the status of this issue.

WORKAROUND:
It is possible to create a report in Strategy Enterprise Manager 9.x that would show all the users who were logged into the project at the time the object was modified. This set of users could then be narrowed down further by looking at which of these users has the proper privileges and permissions to modify the object. The report consists of the 'User' and 'Project' attributes. It is filtered using the 'Connection Timestamp' and 'Disconnection Timestamp' attribute forms of the 'Session' attribute. The filter would be:

This workaround will only help narrow down the list of users who could have modified the object but not to find out definitively as to which user made the change.
