SYMPTOM:
Web Analyst users cannot delete objects from a report in Strategy Web 9.x and newer versions. In versions older than Strategy Web 9.x, the Web Analyst Privilege 'Web Delete Objects' would allow users to delete the objects in a report in Strategy Web.
CAUSE:
A 'Web Analyst' user can execute the report and pivot the objects, in Strategy Web 9.x and newer versions, but in order to modify the report structure, for example to delete anything from report, the user must have 'Web Professional' privileges.
ACTION:
In order to allow users to delete objects from a report in Strategy Web 9.x and newer versions, they must be granted the Web Professional privilege 'Web modify the list of report objects (use object browser--all objects)' shown below:
