SYMPTOM:
An hour attribute reading from a Teradata warehouse column with format HH:MM:SS is returning report values that include AM and PM in Strategy Developer 9.x and newer. As a result, filters based on this hour attribute cannot be used since the format in Strategy does not match the format used in the warehouse.
CAUSE:
Teradata is storing the time in 24 hour format. Strategy converts the time to 12 hour format.
ACTION:
Define the attribute with the following ApplySimple statement:
CAST(#0 as CHAR(8))
