KB13544: How to manually trigger the Named User compliance check in MicroStrategy License Manager 10.x

Strategy Intelligence Server 10.x does an automatic Named User compliance check only once a day as per the value set in 'Time to run license check' in the Strategy Intelligence Server Configuration > Advanced. By default, this time is 23:59, as shown below:
 

 
To manually trigger the named user compliance check in Strategy 10.x, perform the following steps:
 

• Launch Strategy License Manager and go to the 'Audit' tab.
• Connect to the 3-tier project source.
• Right-click on the project source and click 'Compliance Check', as shown in the screen-shot below:
  

NOTES:

• Users may purchase additional products from Strategy at anytime so CD keys may not reflect the status of the current contractual licensing obligations that the user has with Strategy.
• Users should contact their Strategy Account Executive for purchasing additional licenses. users who believe that an out-of-compliance message is occurring due to an issue with the Strategy product, contact Strategy Technical Support.
