The maximum size of each diagnostic log files for the Strategy Intelligence Server can be set in the Diagnostics Configuration dialog box. The steps to achieve this are detailed below:
- Launch the Strategy Diagnostics and Performance Logging Tool (On Windows OS, launch the tool from Program Files > Strategy Tools; On Linux, the 'mstrdiag' utility can be found in the <MSTR_HOME>/bin folder.
- Go to the Tools Menu and select the "Log Destinations" menu option. This will open the editor in which the size of the log files can be set.
- Click on the "Select Log Destinations" drop down box to pick the log file whose size needs to be modified,or specify the new log file name, and the new value for the maximum size for the log file.
