KB14380: Services appear to hang in the Distribution Manager monitor in MicroStrategy Narrowcast Server 9.0.0

SYMPTOM:
When executing concurrent services in Strategy Narrowcast Server 9.0.0 which exceed the Maximum concurrent executing services governing setting specified at the system level, the following behavior is observed:

• It is observed that in the Distribution Manager monitor, services are still present, as shown below:
  

CAUSE:
This is a known issue with Strategy Narrowcast Server 9.0.0. It occurs when the number of concurrent services exceeds the 'Maximum concurrent executing services' governing setting.
 
ACTION:
This issue has been fixed in Strategy Narrowcast Server 9.0.1. Upgrade to this version to take advantage of the fix.
 
WORKAROUND:
Set the 'Maximum concurrent executing services' governing setting to a high enough value so that this issue is not encountered.
