This technical note explains how to modify the security so that when users access the Administrator Page using Tomcat as the application server, they are not prompted to enter their credentials in Strategy Web.
When users access the Administrator Page, users are presented with a network login screen.
In order to prevent this network login screen from showing up, open Web.xml and comment out the following lines:

<auth-constraint>

<role-name>admin</role-name>

</auth-constraint>

Now when users access the Administrator Page, they will not be prompted to enter their credentials.
