KB14755: Inability to select multiple options from the ‘Other’ group in the Advanced Options under Export Options while exporting a report to another application from within MicroStrategy Developer

SYMPTOM:
When trying to export a report to Microsoft Excel, the user is only able to check one option at a time from the 'Other' group in the Advanced Options under Export Options in Strategy Developer, as shown below:
 

 
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
Follow the steps below to reproduce this issue in the Strategy Tutorial project:
 

• In Strategy Developer, open a report in grid view.
• Go to Data > Export Options, as shown below:
  

• Click on Advanced Options. Notice that under the 'Other' group, only one option is selected, 'Export each page to a separate worksheet.'
• Now try selecting another option. The system will uncheck the previous selected option, as shown below:
  

CAUSE:
This is working as designed. However, instead of the check boxes, there should be radio buttons. An enhancement has been submitted to change the button type to be addressed in a future release of Strategy Developer.
 
ACTION:
Strategy will continue to investigate and post updates as soon as they are available.
