How to determine the Job Prioritization by cost configured for a database instance in MicroStrategy Developer 9.x?

SYMPTOM:
A user wants to know the Cost ranges established for High, Medium, and Low Priority in a database instance in Strategy Developer 9.x.
 
When accessing Job Prioritization tab, the values for cost are not shown, as seen below:

CAUSE:
The product is working as designed.
 
ACTION:
In order to verify the chosen values for cost, follow the steps below:
 

  • Click on 'New' to create a new prioritization. The Job Prioritization Wizard appears.
  • When determining job priority select 'Cost' and click Next.
  • The 'Define the cost ranges for high, medium and low cost reports' window will show the user defined and stored values for this database instance, as shown below:

Job priority defines the order in which jobs are processed. Jobs are usually executed on a first-come, first-served basis; however, user can select some jobs to be processed before or after other jobs. Users with administration privileges can assign different priorities to reports by assigning them a Report Cost.
