KB15350: How to append a string to the end of a metric value in MicroStrategy Developer 9.4.1 and 10.x

This technical note describes how to append a string to the end of a metric value in Strategy Developer 9.4.1 and 10.x.
 
For example, assume the user would like to see the metric value where there is a string appended to the end of the metric value, as shown below:

In order to achieve this, perform the following steps:

• Right-click on the metric and go to Formatting > Revenue Values > Custom.
• Enter the following syntax:

  #,###.00 "STRING"

  
   
  

Now when the report is executed, the string will be appended to the end of the metric value.
