This article describes how to find all aliases used by a metric.

The following procedure describes how to find all aliases used by a metric: 

  • In Strategy Developer, navigate to the metric object; right-click and select "Search for Dependents..." to return all objects that are using the metric:

  • In the search results, select all report objects.
  • Navigate in the menu bar to Tools > Project Documentation...

  • The project Documentation Wizard will open. Select default options in first 2 screens. In the "Options by type" screen, select "Alias" under Application Objects> Report> Definition:

  • In the next screen, select default output setting.
  • Finish and run the wizard; an HTML file will generate with audit of the reports containing the metric:

  • Click on the report to expand the detail section; alias information will be present for the metric:
