KB15932: How to increase the Java Heap size in the IBM WebSphere Application Server

To increase the Java (initial/max) Heap Size in the IBM WebSphere Application Server 6.0, follow the instructions below:
 

  • Via the administrative console, select the working server.
  • In the Application Servers, select the correct server.
  • Under Java and Process Management, select Process Definition, as illustrated below:

  • Under additional properties, select Java Virtual Machine, as illustrated below:

  • Set the initial and max Java Heap Size, as illustrated below:

  • Apply the new changes.
