KB16156: Attribute and metric aliases do not show correctly in the report filter in MicroStrategy Developer

SYMPTOM:
When a display alias is set for objects in a grid, the object alias is not displayed in the report filter in Strategy Developer, but is displayed in Strategy Web, as illustrated below:
To reproduce in Strategy Tutorial:

• Create a simple report with one attribute and one metric.
• Apply Display Aliases to the attribute and metric by selecting Data > Report Data Options and then selecting Alias under Display from the left menu.

• Create a filter using the attribute and metric.

In Strategy Developer the Object Aliases are not displayed in the filter:

CAUSE:
This is a known issue in Strategy Developer.
 
ACTION:
Strategy will continue to investigate and post updates as soon as they are available.
