SYMPTOM:
After installing Strategy Narrowcast Server 9.x - 10.x when trying to start the Distribution Manager Service, the user will get the following error message:
Could not start the Strategy Distribution Manager service on Local Computer. Error 0x80004005: Unspecified error
Then, the Strategy Distribution Manager service will not start.
CAUSE:One possible cause of this error is the server activation of the installation has not been applied properly or has not been done at all.
ACTION:Go to Strategy License Manager and deactivate the installation and re-activate it again if previously activated. Or, activate the installation if it has not been done.
