MicroStrategy Narrowcast Server 9.x is a multi-process application, unlike the MicroStrategy Intelligence Server 9.x which is primarily a single process application (MSTRSvr.exe). This means that when running MicroStrategy Narrowcast Server multiple processes will be created and destroyed as different components are needed.
