SYMPTOM:
A dataset, once in the document but since removed shows up as a dependency of the document in a dependency search and during object migration in Strategy Developer 9.x and 10.x.
The dataset no longer appears anywhere in the document.
CAUSE:
The dependency is not from dataset itself, but formatting contingent upon the dataset that was not removed. This behavior is by design. An enhancement request has been logged to check dependency of that dataset when users remove it. Contact Strategy Technical Support for an update on the status of the enhancement request.
ACTION:
To correct the issue, remove the document's formatting related to the dataset. Examples of the formatting can be thresholds, conditional formatting, or a view filter.
