Interface messages can be localized and customized using the MicroStrategy Web SDK. This technical note demonstrates how messagesBundle files are used to to achieve this goal.

INTRODUCTION
Certain messages that are displayed to Strategy Web end users are contained in the Strategy Web message bundles, which is a dictionary of messages included in your Strategy Web installation. There exists a seperate message bundle for each supported language. You can find the message bundles in your Strategy Web installation directory by navigating to \WEB-INF\classes\resources. Each message is mapped to a numerical code that is prefixed with mstrWeb. Modifying a message will cause the message to display differently to Strategy end users.
