When performing a Strategy Enterprise Manager 9.x data load, the following error occurs:

ka04W000000OeW2QAK_0EM440000002BQX.jpeg

The specific symptoms of this issue are:

  • The error message is a complete insert statement but contains no values to be inserted.
  • This issue occurs during the metadata migration portion of the data load.

CAUSE:
This issue is caused by an inconsistent object definition in the Strategy Metadata. In this instance the offending object is an attribute, as the insert being made to the IS_ATT table during the metadata migration portion of the data load.

ACTION:
Users who are experiencing this error should enable additional data load SQL tracing as described in the following Strategy Knowledge Base technical note:
KB30594: How to enable the SQL executed during the Strategy Enterprise Manager 9.x data load (ETL) to be logged to the MSTRMigration.log
This will allow for the identification of the offending object. Deleting or correcting the inconsistent object through the use of ScanMD or MDDoctor is required for the data load to complete successfully.

Contact Strategy Technical Support for assistance in identifying and resolving this inconsistent metadata object.
